Well technically, there 4 more:
While some of the tips here can be used on some of the parks outside the US, this is just focusing on the US parks.
What is LEGOLAND?
LEGOLAND is probably more than what you think it is. It far exceeded my expectations. My family took a trip to the Orlando location and we only had one day for LEGOLAND. Shame on us! Both the resorts in Florida and Orlando are complete with a Theme Park, Water Park and Hotel. How Much Does It Cost and How do I save?
So the LEGOLAND Florida prices vary based on your travel plans. If you but 7+ days in advance, The price starts at $67. If you buy at the gate, prices start at $82. These prices quoted don't include the WaterPark tickets.
TIP: Checkout Costco.com for discounted tickets for both the Florida and California LEGOLAND Resorts. Costco has the 1 day admission for adults or children for $56.99. The tickets are also refundable, so if for some reason you cannot use one or all of them, you can get your money back with no hassle.
TIP: I also hear that signing up for the Lego Magazine is worth it because sometimes they offer a free child's admission with the purchase of a full-price adult admission.
Other LEGOLAND Discounts:
- Have American Express Membership Rewards? You could use some of your points for LEGOLAND Florida or LEGOLAND California tickets.
- Undercovertourist.com is a good site for Orlando attractions like LEGOLAND Florida.
- There is a McDonald's discount. Free child's admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Other ways to save
I didn't find many discounts for the LEGOLAND resort hotels. Regardless of if you go there or not, check it out. It is a site to see. Also, if you need to fly to Orlando or California, why not sign-up for one of those credit card offers, spend the minimum amount and get the rewards to help offset some of the trip costs. For instance it is April 2016 and if you sign-up for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, you can get 50,000 points which at minimum is worth $500. There is no annual fee the first year and you have to spend $4,000 in the first 3 months to get that bonus. There are all kinds of sites dedicated to finding the best credit card site like ThePointsGuy.com, MillionMileSecrets.com. etc. Another great signup these sites currently talk about is the Chase SouthWest Airlines credit card bonus. Those 50,000 points for spending $2,000 in the first 3 months could help offset your trip with at least 2 free round trip tickets, if SouthWest Airlines flies in your area.So there you have it. You don't have to pay full price for LEGOLAND and there options if you believe that LEGOLAND is out of your budget. It is not. Those same credit card sign-ups can be used to get hotel points redeemable for free stays.
